Tweed Banister, bass and vocals.Tweed comes from the L.A. “scene” and has rubbed elbows with engineers/producers/musicians that have worked with the likes of Rick Derringer, Delany and Bonnie, Pat Benatar, and Steely Dan (among others). He recorded a single with the band “Flag” that appeared several years later on a Runaway’s album. Tweed joined the Los Angeles Progressive Post punk band “The Deaners”, a Top 30 LA draw regularly playing at Madame Wong’s and other L.A. clubs. The Deaners received airplay on KROQ, KLOS and KMET. Later, the band became Shadow Banister and Tweed assumed the roll of the lead singer/bassist. Shadow Banister was a huge LA draw and was consistently a top 3 draw at any given club. |

Glenn Morse, drums and vocalsGlenn honed his chops playing in garage bands during high school in Modesto, CA. After graduating, he joined a popular Top 40 band called New York Connection. Their many gigs throughout the San Joaquin Valley in the early 1980s included opening for Elvin Bishop. Glenn spent a couple of years playing mainly with the power trio The Karey Doolin Band, doing all original music. After moving to the Bay Area Glenn anchored the rhythm section for The Crybaby Band, and oldies cover group. He moved to Santa Cruz in 1995 and has played in numerous cover and original groups, including Dueling Julies, Torpedo, and The Juvenators. Glenn also plays in local bands Phat Chants and Roots 66. |

Cliff Feldman, guitar and vocalsCliff grew up in Tucson, Arizona, and after starting in the band biz as a high school senior, ended up in a progressive / original band “Central Heating”. They regularly opened shows for the Phoenix band “The Spiders”, better known later as Alice Cooper. Moving to the Bay Area in 1970, Cliff and fellow DJ’s from San Jose’s KOME radio formed Occasional Rain. This band performed an eclectic mix of his original tunes and covers of obscure English progressive groups. Taking a break from music, Cliff moved to Santa Cruz and joined popular local cover band Phat Chants, and then created Roots 66, a classic American Roots rock band. |

Bret Mars, guitar and vocalsBret was in the spandex and hairspray movement in Southern California in the early 80′s. He’s been in bands that opened for Ratt, Gary Myrick and Steeler. Aside from playing in a variety of Monterey Bay bands, he’s worked as an acoustic instrumentalist, and some of his original rock instrumental music has been featured on nationally syndicated televised sports programming. His favorite things include Mexican food, ancient oriental poetry, and actress Olivia Wilde. Not content to simply wail away on guitars, Bret is also a haiku poet who has been published here and in Japan. |
